Meet cute
predator
prey
he's gnashing on the bones
of previous meet cute
which in retrospect
wasn't so cute
just meat
she's smiling that smile
with chompers
bigger than his
and that's the joke
only he can't see
past those pretty blue eyes
lies that twinkle
twinkle
till they're the stars
of his sky
till she becomes the sun
that keeps him at bay
and we're back at
predator
prey
